About Dr. Hyland
Dr. Hyland is a fully licensed osteopathic physician whose work is guided by a deep reverence for the body's own healing intelligence. She received her Bachelor of Science in Genetics, Cell Biology, and Human Development with a minor in Psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, her medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine-California, and completed her residency training in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Charleston Area Medical Center in West Virginia. Her path to osteopathy was shaped by both personal experience and the mentors who showed her what was possible — she has felt firsthand what it means to be truly helped by this work, and has spent her career pursuing its deepest roots and sharing its potential with everyone she can.
Her practice is grounded in the original philosophy of Andrew Taylor Still: that the body carries within it an inherent healing potential, and that the physician's role is to free what has become held, so that Health may express itself fully. Dr. Hyland has pursued extensive postgraduate training in osteopathy courses, including Osteopathy in the Cranial Field. In her sessions, she draws on a full range of hands-on osteopathic techniques, with each treatment guided by what the tissues themselves call for. Dr. Hyland recognizes that mind, body, and spirit are not separate systems but one living whole. She is trained to perceive emotional and energetic patterns held in the body's tissues, and when appropriate, to work with them collaboratively, creating space for a depth of healing that goes beyond the physical. Every session is held in full presence, guided by deep listening and genuine care for the whole person.
A Minnesota native with a deep love for the natural world, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and live music.
